Back It Up

This is my version of a backpack! Minimal, dark caramel, brass hardware with hand stitching. Simple yet I feel it will turn a few heads. I've fallen madly in love with this bag because I was only able to make one in this size. It will be hard to let this one go but I can't keep everything that I create. Sometimes my tote matches the foundation! Just playing around on Instagram snapping pics of a leather bag I created last year. These bags are more than accessories they are like art to me.

Collection of Caramel

So this is what I have been working on, for the love of caramel!!! I decided to step away from the Janome sewing machine and do some real hands on work. 50 million hand punches and stitches later..........You can now find them on my Etsy shop.

Saturdays.....

Started my Saturday off with a new project, I'm working with this dark caramel leather. Decided to create a new bucket bag, over 200 hole punches later and some hand stitching it's complete! I added some gold hardware and it's finished. Now on to the next project...

Plum Pack

Match Made In Heaven

I used to love making jewelry and I have a load of crazy beads all over my home. I love to create all day everyday and sometimes I have to step away from leather and do something different. Art + Handmade

My son who is a artist decided to use this  little bag that I made as his canvas. I'm totally in love with it and will definitely collaborate with him on creating more. Can't wait to put some of these up on my Etsy Shop in time for Spring!

Putting In Work

It's a new year and new ideas are forming. This month I have began working on some new projects an hopefully pushing the limits with recycling leather.

Leather Weather

My love for vintage runs deep, I came across this leather skirt at the goodwill last year. I had some scraps of leather laying around and decided to give these wooden bangles a new look. I also picked up this necklace at a second hand store, I love these vintage black beads so I added a few African brass beads and created a new piece. There is nothing like black on black!

Once was.....

I created this little bag last year and tucked it away for some reason, now I'm obsessed with it. In it's former life this little bag was once part of a old couch..... Look at it now!

Slate

So I am going thru my recycled pile and trying to create as much as I can so that I do not have to waste any leather. I found a few pieces of this slate color leather and decided to create a few mini bags. I love this color and texture and the bags came out really nice. I will have these up on my Etsy Shop very soon!
