Art + Handmade

My son who is a artist decided to use this  little bag that I made as his canvas. I'm totally in love with it and will definitely collaborate with him on creating more. Can't wait to put some of these up on my Etsy Shop in time for Spring!

Leather Weather

My love for vintage runs deep, I came across this leather skirt at the goodwill last year. I had some scraps of leather laying around and decided to give these wooden bangles a new look. I also picked up this necklace at a second hand store, I love these vintage black beads so I added a few African brass beads and created a new piece. There is nothing like black on black!

Once was.....

I created this little bag last year and tucked it away for some reason, now I'm obsessed with it. In it's former life this little bag was once part of a old couch..... Look at it now!

Slate

So I am going thru my recycled pile and trying to create as much as I can so that I do not have to waste any leather. I found a few pieces of this slate color leather and decided to create a few mini bags. I love this color and texture and the bags came out really nice. The Mega Tote

I had been holding on to this light gloss caramel leather for a while. I wasn't sure if I really liked it and didn't know what to create with it. Now I'm glad that I decided to work with this recycled leather, it was once a couch and now given new life!!! I love a big tote bag and you can carry everything in this one. I really love creating with this chocolate leather, its very rich in color and has a smooth feel. The more these bags are used and carried around the better the leather will look.  I really wanted to create a few over the shoulder bags. I had some wonderful recycled leather to work with and this bag turned out perfect! This is a great color for Fall and this leather will look better and better as time goes by.
