Last Night's Creation

I have wanted to create this bag for a long time and finally go around to making it last night. I had two left over pieces of leather and went to work!! I say this bag turned out pretty lovely, definately making more....

So Damn Bright

I took a little trip to the country this past weekend and bought the most amazing hide of leather!!! I only have the one hide to create from which will make the process so much fun. I can't wait to finish up the limited pieces from this rich red hide. More to come!

Knotted Pouch

I love a little sunlight and shadows. I created this pebbled textured pouch over the weekend and I was trying to figure out how to finish up the look. I figured I would just knot the front strap for a sleek and clean look. I think I really like how this bag turned out and my plan is to make a small batch of these to put up on my Etsy Shop! www.treefairfax.etsy.com

Mega Zip

For the love of black!!!! I love working with black leather and this one has a pebble texture. I'm obsessed with minimalism and a sleek clean look so I created this mega bag. Dark Chocolate

So I was cleaning up my piles of leather and found a super soft piece that I had to use. I only had enough of this dark chocolate leather to create one zipper pouch. Rustic Brown Leather

I am working with some new waxy leather that has great texture, thick and beautiful!!!! By far this is my favorite recycled leather that I have worked with. It's perfect for Fall and has a rustic look. There will be several bags in my Etsy Shop at:

For The Love Of Backpacks

I love a good backpack but it has to speak to me so I decided to create one that speaks volumes! I still had a few pieces of mudcloth material laying around and some lovely leather pieces as well. What a great combination it turned out to be, I'm in love with this bag and it will be hard to see it go. It's a true one of a kind piece that I created and I hope to have this in my Etsy Shop soon.

Falling.....

Prep'n For Fall

The seasons are about to change and I am ready for the cooler weather! I stepped away from sewing to crochet a lovely black scarf and I am totally in love with it. Summer Time

I love this melon, peachy leather. I only had a very small amount and really wanted to create something that shouts Summer Is Here!!!!! It's like a slice of sweet cantaloupe. Sew It Is

Just got this lovely tote in the mail the other day, created by Yokoo who has an amazing shop at www.yokoo.us When she first posted the picture of her new line of tote bags I knew I had to have one. I can't wait to carry this bag around everyday, currently I have it stuffed with recycled leather and it's already in good use! Check out her shop! Happy sewing!

Over Load

I have a big supply of recycled chocolate brown leather and I couldn't wait to begin the creating process. So far I have made three pieces and they are making me happy! I love this leather and the texture is perfect! I love a sleek, clean, minimal look. You can find them on my Etsy shop

At Midnight

Went thru a pile of leather pieces and found this great textured black leather I had hidden at the very bottom. Whipped up this little fold over bag and used the extras to make a lovely tiny pouch that is now a necklace. I made the bracelet a few years back from a vintage skirt I bought at the Goodwill. I think all of these lovely pieces work well together.
