Chocolate Peanut Butter

So, this lovely tote was once a couch. I love to work with recycled leather, lay out the pieces on the floor and let my imagination go to work. The leather I have is so limited and I am unable to mass produce but I think I kind of like it that way. Thankfully I had enough of this peanut butter leather laying around and was able to make the straps. I am in love with the chocolatey brown leather and the richness of it. Plum Pack

Putting In Work

It's a new year and new ideas are forming. This month I have began working on some new projects an hopefully pushing the limits with recycling leather.

Once was.....

I created this little bag last year and tucked it away for some reason, now I'm obsessed with it. In it's former life this little bag was once part of a old couch..... Look at it now!

Slate

So I am going thru my recycled pile and trying to create as much as I can so that I do not have to waste any leather. I found a few pieces of this slate color leather and decided to create a few mini bags. I love this color and texture and the bags came out really nice. I will have these up on my Etsy Shop very soon!

Essence

Quick post, I made this bag last month and I really love this shape and the easiness of this bag. It has great texture and looks amazing with denim! Crochet + Leather

When yarn and leather meet this is what happens. I try to use every piece of leather that I have laying around, waste not want not! I think this is a pretty good combination.
