Saturdays.....

Started my Saturday off with a new project, I'm working with this dark caramel leather. Decided to create a new bucket bag, over 200 hole punches later and some hand stitching it's complete! I added some gold hardware and it's finished. Now on to the next project...

Art + Handmade

My son who is a artist decided to use this  little bag that I made as his canvas. I'm totally in love with it and will definitely collaborate with him on creating more. Can't wait to put some of these up on my Etsy Shop in time for Spring!

Once was.....

I created this little bag last year and tucked it away for some reason, now I'm obsessed with it. In it's former life this little bag was once part of a old couch..... Look at it now!

The Mega Tote

I had been holding on to this light gloss caramel leather for a while. I wasn't sure if I really liked it and didn't know what to create with it. Now I'm glad that I decided to work with this recycled leather, it was once a couch and now given new life!!! I love a big tote bag and you can carry everything in this one. It's available on my Etsy Shop: www.treefairfax.etsy.com

Bundle Up!

It's getting cold out and that makes me want to crochet a few scarves so that I can bundle up when I step outside. Here's my Fall inspiration for today, denim jacket, handmade leather bag and army green scarf!

The Rustics

I love a rustic look and I was happy to get my hands on this rough and rugged leather. I only had enough to create a few bags and I like what came of this recycled leather. There are a few bags in my Etsy shop and a few are at The Artful Lawyer Gallery Shop!

A Pair

I was volunteering at The Artful Lawyer, Gallery Store on Saturday where they carry some of my handmade goods as well as other artisans in the area. They are located in Blacksburg Virgina on Main Street. I had some time so I snapped a few pics and this has to be my favorite! That hat is amazing and goes perfect with my leather rustic bag. Both are available at the Gallery Store.

Black On Black

I took a moment away from sewing and worked on some jewelry. I got these amazing black disk beads from a special store, the beads come from Africa and they are so great to work with. I made a clay bead for the center and it looks pretty cute on this black leather cord.

For The Love of Chocolate

I really love creating with this chocolate leather, its very rich in color and has a smooth feel. The more these bags are used and carried around the better the leather will look. This was definately a great find when I went searching for new leather to create with. Please check out my Etsy shop for new items. www.treefairfax.etsy.com

Carry Me

I love a classic tote, wearable everyday and looks amazing with a pair of jeans. This chocolate brown leather is amazing and it will look better and better as time goes by. I really like it when leather has that worn look. I'm still in the factory creating each day and I hope to have a lot to offer on Etsy and at a few local craft shows.
